PR applications won’t be refused for not meeting Biometrics deadlines

COVID-19 MEASURES September 8, 2020 – Permanent Resident visa applicants are getting anxious over meeting deadlines for giving their biometrics, a crucial process required by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to determine the criminal and security admissibility of PR applicants. COVID-19 Measures Work Permit

Visitors can now apply for work permits within Canada

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has announced that visitors in Canada who hold valid status and have valid job offers are now allowed to apply for work permits within Canada. They don’t have to exit the country to do so.
