NOC 2021 impacts to Express Entry applications

Toronto, Sept. 25, 2022 – Starting Nov. 16, 2022 there will be significant changes to the Express Entry (EE) immigration application system when it transitions to using the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 to replace the current NOC 2016. Over 100,000 applicants from Express Entry pool got PR invitations

As October, 2021 ends Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has issued a total of 106,765 Permanent Residence (PR) invitations to applicants in the Express Entry pool. The invitations were extended to those in the Canadian Experian Class and Provincial Nominee Program streams. Highlights of Express Entry Year-End Report 2019

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada recently published its Express Entry year-end report for 2019 noting that the EE pool has become more competitive compared to the the previous year.
